What happens to your data, in plain words
This page is the short version. The full legal text is linked at the bottom. If the two ever disagree, the legal text applies.
Your voice: It is turned into text. The recording is not stored on our servers.
Your email: It never goes to the AI providers.
No ads: No advertising, tracking or analytics tools. We do not sell your data.
What we ask of you
To sign in you only need an email address. There is no password: we send a 6-digit code to that address. We do not ask for your name, phone number or ID. You must be 16 or older.
What happens to your voice
- The microphone opens only when you start recording.
- Your voice goes to our coach server, and from there to a speech-to-text provider (Groq, or DeepInfra if Groq is down).
- We do not keep voice recordings on our servers. They are discarded once they are turned into text.
- In speaking practice, the recording stays on your phone so you can play it back. It is deleted when you finish the lesson, and after 7 days at the latest.
- We do not make a voiceprint or any other biometric data from your voice.
- The transcript of a live talk is kept for 7 days. After that only a short summary stays: how long you talked, how many turns and how many words.
- "Ask the coach" chats are not stored on the server.
What the AI providers see
The coach is an AI. To give you feedback we send your text and the transcript of your speech to AI providers: OpenAI, Groq, DeepInfra and Anthropic.
- Your email address, your name and your account number are not sent to them.
- Details such as phone numbers, email addresses, ID numbers, IBANs and street addresses are masked before anything is sent.
- Under the providers' business API terms, data sent this way is not used to train their models by default. For security and abuse checks, most of them may keep it for up to 30 days. Requests to OpenAI are sent with response storage turned off.

Deleting your account
- In the app: Ben, Ayarlar, Hesap, "Hesabımı sil". Or on the web: /delete-account/.
- Everything is deleted at once and it cannot be undone.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel that separately in Google Play or the App Store.
Using your rights
To get a copy of your data, correct it or have it deleted, write to destek@enestavlu.com from the email address on your account. We reply free of charge within 30 days.
